As you can see, the floor plan is very open and airy.  There is a great deal of flow in the living area, and the kitchen is designed for efficiency and is open to the dining area, living area, and upstairs.  The Master Suite is roomy and is situated so as to take advantage of the pristine views as well as privacy.  The upstairs has great flexible areas to include a study, bonus room, and bedroom with bath.  With the open walkway, the upstairs is a separate, yet involved space.

At this point, we have almost completed the framing, and have the elevated walkway and entire second floor up.  The views from every perspective are amazing.  The steel has been erected to accommodate the storefront quality 17 foot high glass windows overlooking the pool and bayou, and framing for the front door is completed.  We purchased rescued vintage Mahogany front door, sidelights and transom from The Bank in New Orleans, that will compliment the overall design of the house.  Entry from the front door will provide views of the pool and bayou perfectly. Windows should arrive next week.  Continue to follow to see photographs which will be posted soon.
