At this point, we have almost completed the framing, and have the elevated walkway and entire second floor up. The views from every perspective are amazing. The steel has been erected to accommodate the storefront quality 17 foot high glass windows overlooking the pool and bayou, and framing for the front door is completed. We purchased rescued vintage Mahogany front door, sidelights and transom from The Bank in New Orleans, that will compliment the overall design of the house. Entry from the front door will provide views of the pool and bayou perfectly. Windows should arrive next week. Continue to follow to see photographs which will be posted soon.
